The Cats of Ko Olina Marina
I stumbled upon a family of stray cats returning from my attempt to capture the beautiful Hawaiian sunrise on a family vacation. Despite keeping my distance, the orange cat implored that I stay as it snuggled against my ankles. I will always remember the unique connection and friendship we developed as I returned each morning at sunrise. I felt chosen, trusted, humbled, and grateful for the gift of being welcomed into their space.
